The company specializes in commercial janitorial services and residential specialty cleaning, including carpet cleaning, duct cleaning, rug cleaning, tile cleaning, upholstery cleaning and pressure washing.
Founded in 1986 by Ken and Judy Conley, Advanced Cleaning Service has spent four decades working to exceed customer expectations. The business is now owned by Kristy Herr, daughter of Ken and Judy Conley, who serves as Chief Operating Manager. Herr lives in Baxter with her husband, Chris, and their son, Trever. She holds a Master of Business Administration from Tennessee Technological University.
Herr is active throughout the community and has served on the Better Business Bureau Board of Directors, the Putnam County Library Board and the TTU Angelo Volpe Library Board. She is past president of the Friends of the Appalachian Craft Center of Tennessee (FACCT) and past president and founder of Friends of Genesis House. Her additional community involvement includes past secretary of the Leadership Putnam Alumni Association, past member of the Vocational Advisory Council for Putnam County Schools, past examiner for the Tennessee Quality Award, past vice president of the Storyteller Theatre Company and past co-chairman of the Regional Quality Council.
Commercial Janitorial Division
On the commercial side, Advanced Cleaning Service cleans more than 80 buildings per night, with crews working 364 days a year. The janitorial division is led by Tyler Dunn, who brings a background in operations and an accounting degree from Tennessee Technological University. Dunn oversees training and quality checks to ensure every site meets the company’s rigorous standards. He has been with Advanced Cleaning Service for more than 10 years and lives in the area with his wife, Anna.
Residential Specialty Cleaning
For residential customers, Advanced Cleaning Service offers a full line of specialty cleaning services, including carpet, duct, tile, upholstery, wood floor and vinyl flooring cleaning, as well as soft touch pressure washing.
