As the first gastrointestinal care provider on Amazon’s Health Benefits Connector, Ayble makes it easier for covered customers to discover and enroll with $0 or low out-of-pocket costs*

BOSTON, Sept. 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Ayble Health, a leading AI-supported virtual multidisciplinary GI care platform, today announced it has joined Amazon’s Health Benefits Connector. The collaboration gives millions of Americans a direct path to discover, verify coverage for, and enroll in specialized digestive healthcare already covered by their health plans*.

Ayble is the first digestive health provider to be included in Amazon’s Health Benefits Connector. In-network for more than 80 million Americans across most major health plans, Ayble delivers expert care leaving most patients with out-of-pocket costs under $10, and even $0*. Through the Health Benefits Connector, individuals can now find out if they’re covered – and start care – without navigating complex insurance portals, calling member services, or waiting weeks for an appointment.

“We built Health Benefits Connector to help customers discover and use quality health services that may be covered by their insurer,” said John Singerling, Head of Strategic Growth and Network Development for Amazon Health Services. “Adding Ayble as our first digestive health provider means customers now have a simple path to specialized, clinician-led GI care, an area where access can be a real challenge.”

The Access Problem:
Gastrointestinal conditions affect more than 70 million Americans, with prevalence ranging from 25% in commercially insured populations to upwards of 50% among Medicare beneficiaries1. Despite advances in care, prevalence continues to rise: between 2007 and 2019, the claims-based prevalence of digestive disorders among private insurance enrollees rose 45% and by 9% from 2015 to 2019 for Medicare beneficiaries1.

Access to specialty digestive care, on the other hand, is constrained and getting tighter: close to 70% of US counties, do not have a single local practicing gastroenterologist2, and based on GI workforce projections from the Health Resources and Services Administration National Center for Health Workforce Analysis, there is an aggregate shortage of 1,630 full-time GI physicians today3. For many patients, that wait means months of unmanaged symptoms, unnecessary ER visits, and avoidable procedures.

At the same time, a significant number of Americans already have GI benefits they don’t know about or don’t know how to use. Amazon’s Health Benefits Connector aims to solve this knowledge gap.

“One of the biggest barriers to GI care isn’t clinical – it’s logistical,” said Sam Jactel, Founder and CEO of Ayble Health and an Inflammatory Bowel Disease patient himself. “People suffer with digestive symptoms for years, often not knowing that high-quality, multidisciplinary GI care is already a covered benefit under their insurance plans. Joining Health Benefits Connector helps remove that friction and connects people directly to the care they need, at the moment they’re looking for help.”

How It Works:
With Amazon’s Health Benefits Connector, customers can now:

  1. Discover: Find Ayble through Amazon’s Health Benefits Connector when exploring covered health services.
  2. Verify Coverage: Check eligibility instantly to see if their health plan provides digestive health benefits.
  3. Enroll: Register in a few clicks and get matched with a dedicated Ayble care team, available in all 50 states.
  4. Start Comprehensive Care: Access personalized nutrition counseling, medication management, diagnostic testing, and more – powered by Ayble’s AI platform and supported by a national network of doctors, nurses, dietitians, behavioral health specialists, and pharmacists.

Most patients are matched with a dedicated care team within 48 hours of enrollment. Ayble achieves an average 47% improvement in GI symptoms for its patients, typically within four weeks and sustained for at least a year..
