RTB Holdings Acquires Boost Transport to Expand Managed Services, LTL, Parcel and Fulfillment Across the AMX Companies
PR Newswire
ATLANTA, Sept. 3, 2026
ATLANTA, Sept. 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — RTB Holdings today announced the acquisition of Boost Transport, LLC (“Boost”), a Georgia-based provider of managed transportation services, less-than-truckload, parcel, and fulfillment solutions. The acquisition expands the AMX Companies’ asset-light logistics capabilities and creates a comprehensive transportation platform to serve customers across a broader range of supply chain needs. Boost, which operates a state-of-the-art warehousing facility in Gainesville, Georgia, will continue to operate under its existing name and leadership team as part of the AMX Companies, the operating group anchored by Alabama Motor Express (“AMX”). Together, the AMX Companies provide a single source for asset-based truckload, brokerage, expedited trans, managed services, LTL, parcel, and fulfillment solutions. The transaction closed August 21, 2026. Terms were not disclosed.
“The Boost platform gives us an accelerated entry point to the Managed Services arena. We have a longstanding track record in this space and adding these capabilities as offerings for our clients was a major priority. The culture and team Todd and Justin have created are top notch. We couldn’t be more excited to help them grow this division.” — Adam McDaniel, President, RTB Holdings
“Freight payment is a balance sheet problem disguised as operations. At AMX, we see it from both sides of the invoice. Reclasses, reweighs, unapproved accessorials, and duplicates leak margin for the shipper and trap cash for the carrier. We have the back-office setup to scale what Boost already does well for their clients.” — Ryan Tripp, Vice President, RTB Holdings
The acquisition of Boost represents RTB Holdings’ continued execution of its strategy to build a leading transportation and logistics platform through the combination of complementary asset-based and asset-light businesses. Boost expands the AMX Companies’ service offering while creating new cross-selling and growth opportunities across the platform.
“When a company joins the AMX Companies, our goal is to build on what it already does well, not remake it. What we add is the strength of forty years of experience in safety, compliance, recruiting, purchasing, and technology, along with a team of operators who understand this business because they have lived it. That is the value of joining the AMX Companies, and the support we intend to provide every business across our platform.” — Collins White, President, AMX Companies
“Boost isn’t going anywhere. Joining the AMX Companies gives our customers access to asset-based truckload, brokerage, and expedited capacity through the same relationship they already trust for managed services, LTL, parcel, and fulfillment. For our team, it means investment in the growth of what we do.” — Todd Gailey, Founder, Boost Transport
