Boostlingo Names Barnaby Dorfman Chief Product and Technology Officer, Promotes Merrie Wallace to President

Company unifies product, AI, and customer operations under two leaders as demand for AI interpreting grows.

Both report to Co-Founder and CEO Bryan Forrester, effective immediately.

The appointments organize Boostlingo around what its customers need most right now: a trusted advisor for AI adoption in language access. New customers adopting Boostlingo’s AI Interpreter nearly tripled from the first quarter of 2026 to the second, and August was the company’s strongest month on record for new AI customers.

Dorfman to lead product and technology

As Chief Product and Technology Officer, Dorfman will unify the product and engineering organizations and lead development across the Language Intelligence Platform, with the AI roadmap as his priority.

Dorfman has advised Boostlingo since 2024, first as an advisor to its Board of Directors and, since January 2025, as chairman of its AI Advisory Board, where he guided the company’s AI roadmap, including the launch of Boostlingo AI Interpreter.

He served as CTO of Payscale and Go1, and held the position of VP of Search Technology at Amazon. Dorfman holds a degree in Hispanic Studies from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and an MBA from Dartmouth, and cares deeply about Boostlingo’s mission of expanding language access through innovation.

In five years as CRO, she grew Boostlingo’s revenue 500%, a run that includes five consecutive appearances on the Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies. Her direct leadership, deep understanding of Boostlingo’s customers, and decades of healthcare experience will anchor the company’s expansion into new markets.
