DEARBORN, Mich., Oct. 7, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Carhartt today announced the launch of the all-new Steel Series, a collection of workwear engineered to take on the toughest jobs. Built to perform through demanding conditions and constant movement, the Steel Series combines rugged protection, advanced material engineering and enhanced mobility to help workers take on whatever their day demands with confidence.

“Forged for the Toughest,” the Steel Series is designed for people who expect more from their workwear, whether that’s on the job, outdoors or anywhere their work takes them. The series is engineered for ultimate functionality and maximum durability, with a system of purpose-built materials and features inspired and designed by how people move and work.

The Steel Series is built on three core performance pillars:

• Zoned protection: Reinforced overlays in areas of high wear help provide targeted protection where it’s needed most.
• Enhanced mobility: Stretch and recovery are incorporated in each garment to support movement throughout the workday.
• Abrasion resistance: Stronger fabrics help deliver maximum durability through demanding use.

The collection includes the Steel Braddock Jacket, Steel Braddock Bib Overall, Steel Bridgeport Sweatshirt, Relaxed Straight Steel Braddock Pant, Relaxed Tapered Steel Buffalo Pant and the Relaxed Straight Steel Baltimore Pant.

Select styles feature Ny-co (Nylon-Cotton) infused fabric engineered to deliver a combination of abrasion resistance, tensile strength and stretch that doesn’t compromise. The Steel Braddock Jacket and Steel Braddock Bib Overall deliver four times more abrasion resistance and two times more stretch than stretch duck, while the Steel Bridgeport Sweatshirt is made with fleece that is two times more abrasion resistant than 10.5-ounce fleece.

Pant styles are also designed to withstand demanding wear, including the Relaxed Steel Braddock Pant which provides ten times more abrasion resistance, three times more tensile strength and two times more stretch than stretch canvas.
